Evening Routine
A calm way to end your day
Here's the truth: I don't have as consistent an evening routine as my morning routine. What I've found is that when I do my morning routine, I can go about my day more intentionally – and that helps me show up better, even on messy days. On truly disastrous days, I'm usually so exhausted that I just crash.
But here's what's interesting: When I travel (especially now while I'm in the States), I have trouble falling asleep. My go-to solution? I turn on my Insight Timer, listen to one of the soothing deep sleep meditations, and drift right off!

Improving Your Sleep Routine
If you're someone who finds it hard to sleep or gets poor quality sleep or perhaps just wish to improve your overall sleep and energy, here is a 5-step sleep regime for you to try this week!
Digital detox: Switch off your phone at least 30 minutes before bedtime. Place it far away if possible. (Did you know about the radiation effects?)
Brain dump: Keep a notebook or sticky notes by your bedside table. If you're like many of my clients who get random thoughts and reminders while lying in bed, simply jot them down on paper (not your phone!)
Listen to a meditation: Try a sleep-focused audio track
Reflect: Journal your biggest win and lesson of the day
End with gratitude: Before you sleep, let your thoughts wander to one person or thing you're grateful for. What's better than sleeping in gratitude?
