What Your Skincare Routine is Quietly Telling You About Yourself 🌸

I want to share something I've been noticing lately.

Over the past few weeks I've been doing Celavive face spa sessions for some of my closest friends. Just 20 to 30 minutes. Simple, intentional, nourishing.

And almost every single one of them said the same thing.

"This feels so good. I can't remember the last time I did something just for me."

And then — almost in the same breath —

"I'm not sure I deserve this."

That stopped me every time.

Because here were these women — accomplished, generous, deeply caring women — lying there with their eyes closed, finally allowing themselves to be tended to. And their first instinct wasn't to receive it.

It was to question whether they were worthy of it.

I've been sitting with that observation. And it brought me back to something I believe deeply as a coach.

The way you treat your skin is the way you treat yourself.

Not just physically. But in the fullest sense.

Do you rush through your skincare — or do you give it time?

Do you invest in what your skin actually needs — or do you make do with whatever is convenient?

Do you show up for this small, daily act of care — or does it always get pushed to the end of the day when you're too exhausted to bother?

Because how you do this — is often how you do everything.

The woman who rushes through her skincare is often the same woman who rushes through her meals, her rest, her mornings; who gives generously to everyone around her and quietly neglects herself.

Not because she doesn't care about herself.

But because somewhere along the way she absorbed the belief that her needs come last.

Self-care is not selfish.

It is the most honest signal you can send yourself — every single day — that you believe you are worth showing up for.

And your skin? It remembers every time you did. And every time you didn't.

The Celavive routine I use and share with the women around me is not just about what it does for your skin — though it does plenty.

It's about the 5 to 10 minutes you give entirely to yourself.

The quiet. The intention. The small but powerful act of saying —

I matter enough to tend to.

If you've been thinking about starting a skincare routine — or elevating the one you have — I'd love to help you find what works for you.

And if you'd like to experience a Celavive face spa session for yourself — simply reply to this email. I'd love to create that space for you. 🌸

Before you close this page — sit with this:

When did you last do something that was completely, entirely for you?

And what did it feel like to receive it?

With love, Elynn 🌸
