Workshop 1: The Purposeful Circle Human Library - 12:30pm

Elynn Teo | The Mind Studio | Your Host for the Human Library

Elynn is a CFO at a Private Equity firm with over 20 years of finance experience. . She founded The Mind Studio. As a trained counsellor, Certified NLP Coach and Heartmath Trainer, Elynn created a space for women to heal and transform as they seek to live more purposefully. Her passion to guide others towards purposeful living led her to set up The Purposeful Circle, a women-mentorship and personal development program, available to all women at no cost.
Through The Purposeful Circle, she created the Human Library, a healing space where women share their stories as "human books" while "readers" learn, find inspiration, and discover pathways for change in their own lives.

Join us for an intimate storytelling experience where three remarkable women will share their journeys from struggle to strength. Throughout the session, Elynn will create pauses for reflection and inquiry - giving you space to sit with what moves you, to ask questions that matter, and to connect deeply with each story.

Come listen. Come connect. Come remember that you're not alone in your journey.

What to expect:
-
Part 1: Listen to all 3 stories from our human books, with guided moments for reflection

Elaine Lin, Human Book
Mom of 5, Youth Mentor, Counsellor-in-training

"Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions"

Elaine spent many years of her young adulthood listening to the voices of the world, as if they should determine who she becomes. Struggling against the labels of being "just a teacher", or "just a mother" mad her feel like she was always failing to reach a mark. Does it have to be like this? Can there be strength and beauty in ordinariness too?

Ying Min Lim, Human Book
Prosecutor and mother to a one-year old
"When Motherhood Almost Broke Me"

Ying Min was winning in the court room, at the peak of her career, confident she could handle anything - until motherhood pushed her past her limit. This is her story of hitting a breaking point she never saw coming and what it takes to rebuild when everything feels like too much.

Darvinya Param, Human Book
Family Constellation Coach

"I didn't think I had a choice."

This story looks at how inherited trauma shapes a woman’s sense of power long before she knows it’s happening.
Darvinya shares her experience of growing up inside unspoken family patterns, learned responsibility, and survival roles that quietly limited choice. Healing began not with insight or positivity, but with the difficult work of seeing what was inherited and questioning it.
This is a story about confronting what was passed down and taking choice, slowly and deliberately.
Other Workshops

"Bloom Within" Workshop
10:30am - 11:30am
2pm to 3pm
In this workshop, you will be guided to create an 8cm sakura-inspired affirmation artwork using Japanese-style pastel art. This process offers a gentle pause - allowing your creation to become a personal anchor for 2026. A reminder that even through changing seasons, strength and beauty already live within you.

About Caihui
Caihui is a Singaporean artist whose affirmation art practice explores self-love and emotional well-being. Through the Japanese-style pastel art technique, she blends pigments with her fingers to create wave-like forms that mirror the ebb and flow of human emotion - a visual meditation on acceptance, resilience, and presence. Her work seeks to cheer and uplift others, using affirmations as gentle anchors of strength and encouragement. Each piece is created as a heartfelt offering, inviting viewers to pause, breathe, and reconnect with their inner selves. For Caihui, art is both a healing practice and a reminder that beauty and strength already exist within us.
